Barbados is a new destination for English language learning. Situated in the Caribbean, Barbados is easy to get to and is a well developed island. The Caribbean "Cocktail" course is a unique course which has been based on authentic material concerning Barbados and the Caribbean. Lessons take place in the Southern Palms Beach Club complex.

We have been running occasional courses in Barbados for many years. These courses are for the mature student or business person who wants something a little different. The courses are personally co-ordinated by Richard Day (English in Chester's Principal) who has over 30 years experience of the Caribbean.

Barbados is a small unspoilt island in the Caribbean. It is sometimes called 'Little England'. The flavour is undoubtedly Caribbean but there is ample evidence of a 300 year association with England. Even the place names are reminiscent of England. Coral reefs chattel houses calypso sounds colourful and friendly people make Barbados different. The tourist industry is well developed and the 'Cocktail' Courses enable the visitor to get to know the island better.
