Junior Camp in Gstaad, a well known mountain resort, is organized for children from 7 - 14 years. The International Junior Camp located in the beautiful mountain resort of Gstaad was founded in 1982 by the management of the International Teen Camp. Mrs. Rose-Marie Repond is the resident director and co-founder. IJC was created as an extension of ITC for the younger brothers and sisters of the ITC campers. The same high standards can be found here and special care is taken so that the younger camper's stay in Switzerland becomes an unforgettable experience.
The camp fee includes all living expenses in camp including language courses excursions all activities ordinary infirmary and laundry services. Travel to and from camp personal allowances and medical care are not included in these prices. Collection centers to and from Camp are Geneva Airport or Gstaad (Lausanne) railway station. A camp T-shirt and sweatshirt shorts backpack a towel as well as school material will be charged also the compulsory accident insurance. All prices quoted and payable in Swiss Francs.

1- or 2 day excursions are scheduled throughout the sessions.
IJC is for boys and girls aged 7 - 14. With enrolment a letter of recommendation concerning the campers behavior is required from the campers school. During each session campers of IJC and ITC meet for common activities and so thus have the occasion to meet their brothers and sisters and visit the other camp.
IJC is located in Gstaad an internationally renowned resort in the Bernese Oberland. The ideal altitude of 1000m (3000ft) make for a healthy and relaxing stay. Campers and staff are housed in beautiful chalets and sleep in spacious 2- or 3 bed rooms equipped with private bathrooms. The camp is located only a few minutes walks from downtown Gstaad excellent sports facilities and the woods. Classrooms workshops and the directors office are to be found in the main building.
Food is prepared by experienced chefs well versed in the art of catering to guests from many nations
The staff to camper ratio is about 1:5. Health and safety are emphasized at all times and campers are never without supervision. A doctor and a registered nurse are available on call at all times.

English 4 - 5 levels
German 2 - 3 levels
Spanish beginners only
All campers attend one of the above courses
4 mornings a week are devoted to language classes. In the afternoons the following activities are offered (most on a daily sign-up basis):

Excursions: 2 day excursions with an overnight stay in the mountains (hiking) to cities camping or cycling tours

2 days summer-skiing or snowboarding in Zermatt: At the foot of the impressive and famous Matterhorn. Excursion includes skiing or snowboarding lessons equipment pass and 2 night at a hotel. This program is organized once every session.
France: Paris - Eurodisney: Visit the fantastic sites and events in and around Paris - Versailles the Eiffel Tower the museums and spectacular Eurodisney! The fee includes travel by TGV train room and board in a quality hotel and all entrance fees. Minimum participants are 8. ITC and IJC counselors accompany the group. ITC campers stay in a hotel in Paris IJC campers are accommodated in a hotel inside the Eurodisney grounds.
Skiing and Snowboarding in Zermatt: Glacier skiing in mid-summer! We can make this dream come true in Zermatt with its famous and spectacular Matterhorn. Runs in summer are much less crowded and so offer a maximum skiing- and snowboarding experience. Accommodations are in comfortable 2- or 3-bed rooms in a local hotel.
